European Projects
The Chamber of Commerce and Industry Romania – Japan had participated at the Program managed by the Ministry of Environment for Natura 2000 protected natural areas administrators selection, obtaining the administration of the North of Western Gorj .
Ministry of Environment and Sustainable Development in the Natura 2000 European ecological network named as Administrator of the North of Western Gorj - "Chamber of Commerce and Industry Romania-Japan” CCIRJ.

Gorj county : Bumbesti –Jiu (4%), Godinesti ( 8%), Pades ( 23%), Pestisani (69%),

Natura 2000 site - North Western Gorj ROSCI0129 covers an area of 87,321 ha in nine municipalities in Gorj - Bumbesti-Jiu Godineşti, Pades, Pestisani, Runcu Staging, Stanesti, Tismana and Turcinesti, and the two localities from Hunedoara : Uricani and Vulcan eastern longitude 23 ˚ 5'3 "and 1'3 ˚ 45 'north latitude.

North of Western Gorj consists of one strip with two alignments Carpathian hills and depressions alternating with a frame whose morphological mountain is more impressive and complex ..
The site lies on the sea surface, including most of the mountains and a small part of Valcan and Godeanu.
Alpine is located in a great wealth of flora and fauna elements. Due to physical and geographical conditions of the site includes a large number of ecosystems present in all alpine and subalpine areas.
The rocks of limestone chimneys grow large plants, including species of Trollius uropaeus and Lilium martagom, the rocks of this area is Mount Oslea edelweiss (Leontopodium alpinum) and dwarf willow (Salix retusa), with white pink ( Dianthus spiculifolius) and mountain bells (Edraiathus graminifolius).
