Romania Presentation

Name: ROMANIA. This name was adopted in 1862, after founding the nation-state by joining the two romanian principalities, Wallachia and Moldavia in 1859. ROU is the international abbreviation.
 
Location: In the south-eastern of Central Europe, on the north of the Balkan Peninsula, on the Lower Danube
 
Climate: Romania has a temperate continental climate of transitional type, specific to Central Europe
 
Romania relief: is characterized by four elements: variety, proportionality, complementarity and symmetrical arrangement, given the large number of forms of relief, almost equal distribution of the major relief units (35% mountains, 35% 30% hills and plateaus and plains) and group relief.
 
Neighbours: Romania borders with five countries, the sixth neighbor is the Black Sea. At NE and E borders with Moldova (681.3 km), at N and E with Ukraine (649.4 km), at SE Black Sea (193.5 km) at S to Bulgaria (631.3 km ) at SW with Serbia (546.4 km) and V Hungary (448.0 km).

Justice: independence is guaranteed by the Superior Council of Magistracy.
